Two FPI soldiers wounded at km 50

Two troops from the Islamic Defenders Front (REIT) who was traveling in a gray Chevrolet Spin car, was injured after the chase and was involved in a shootout with police officers traveling in a silver Avanza.

This was revealed in the reconstruction of a clash between the police and the FPI, which resulted in the death of 6 members of the FPI Laskar, on Monday morning (12/14).

During the rebuilding at the third TKP, i.e. KM 50 Rest Area, initially a Chevrolet Spin containing 6 FPI soldiers entered the rest area, but when they were about to leave, a corolla car was blocked.

When Laskar’s car came to a stop, the Avanza car agents they were pursuing immediately got out and surrounded Laskar’s car. Officers asked 4 soldiers to get out and get out of the car.

Officers then conducted a search and found firearms, sickles and catapults from Laskar’s car. At the same time, two other Laskar men in the car were injured.

According to the Director of General Crimes (Dirtipidum), Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Andi Rian, Laskar’s two men were wounded during a shootout with officers in the previous TKP.

“In the process of persecution, when they saw the perpetrator trying to direct a shot at the officer, instead of being preceded, the members took firm action, it turned out that they reached TKP 3, once blocked, it was found that two of the perpetrators they were injured, ”Andi said.

In addition, the two injured perpetrators were taken away in the officer’s car. Meanwhile, another 4 Laskar, carried in a Daihatsu Xenia car owned by another officer, arrived at the rest area to support the officers with Avanza.

The rebuild also shows that Laskar’s Chevrolet Spin was towed. There are a total of 31 scenes at the third crime scene.

Previously, various testimonies from residents and the FPI indicated that there was no shooting contact with the police before the death. What exists is the army’s siege against the laskar at the KM 50 rest area.

Furthermore, four of the six Laskar who died were said to be still alive.
