TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) is deepening the crime scene processing (TKP) results related to the shooting of six members of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) or the bodyguard of Rizieq Shihab.

“Currently, the team is deepening the results of the TKP process yesterday, after previously hearing testimony and examining various statements,” Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam said when contacted on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

According to Anam, Komnas HAM has increasingly received a positive point from the results of the investigation at the scene of the incident. He also hopes that Komnas HAM can immediately reveal the incident of the shooting that occurred on Monday, December 7, 2020 that morning.

“Currently the event is getting more detailed and gradually brighter. We look forward to more puzzles being revealed,” Anam said. It’s just that he doesn’t want to reveal his findings yet.

Six members of the FPI Laskar who were guarding Rizieq Shihab were shot dead by the police on the Cikampek Kilometer 50 toll road on Monday, December 7, 2020 at around 00:30. According to the police, this was done because the laskar attacked the officers with firearms and sharp weapons.

Munarman, the general secretary of the FPI, denied police claims that the FPI Laskar who was guarding Rizieq Shihab possessed and carried firearms. According to Munarman, all members of the FPI are prohibited from carrying firearms, sharp weapons, explosives and being used to “bare hands.” He considered that the police had distorted the facts about this weapon.
