JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – South Tangerang General Election Commission (KPU) Chairman Bambang Dwitoro died on Saturday (12/12/2020) after testing positive for Covid-19.

As previously reported, Bambang Dwitoro tested positive for Covid-19 and underwent treatment at the hospital.

“Yes, we openly convey that South Tangerang KPU President Bambang Dwitoro is Covid-19 positive,” South Tangerang KPU Acting President M Taufik said when confirmed, on Friday (11/12/2020) evening. .

Taufik said, Bambang tested positive for Covid-19 after test results swab which took place last Saturday (05/12/2020).

Since testing positive, Bambang has been isolated in a hospital in the South Tangerang area.

“We found out on Saturday night, the results swab latest. Then after that until today, the president has carried out independent isolation and treatment at Sari Hospital, “he said.
