Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Vice president Commission III DPR RI Desmond Junaidi Mahesa said that his commission was confused in its position after hearing the testimonies and explanations of the families and lawyers of the victims who died in clashes between police and members of the Islamic Defenders Front (REIT) on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, around Karawang, West Java.
Therefore, he hopes to return to a meeting with the victim’s family and attorney to discuss further details.
“In the future, we hope we can schedule the meeting in more detail, so that we can take the right position. If this is what we want, what we want to be confused about, this is the position of Commission III. [DPR]”Desmond said at the General Audience Meeting (RDPU) at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Thursday (12/10).
The Gerindra Party politician said there were a number of interesting notes sent by the families and lawyers of the victims who were killed in the clash between police and FPI members on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
According to him, the note will complement the opinions of Commission III of the DPR when addressing the two versions of the information on the confrontation between the police and members of the FPI on the current Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
“What was presented was evidence that complements all the incidents from two different sources of information, which was the police and the FPI,” Desmond said.
During the hearing, the families of the victims had informed the DPR Commission III of the status of the bodies that died in the clash between the police and members of the FPI on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road around Karawang.
The family of the late Muhammad Suci Khadavi Poetra, Anandra, said there were three gunshot wounds to the victim’s chest. He admitted that he received the story from his father, who participated in Khadavi’s bath before being buried.
“The wound was like being shot point-blank. My father told me he had tears in his eyes, three gunshot wounds to the chest,” Anandra said in DPR Commission III on Thursday (12/10).
Meanwhile, the family of the late Lutfil Hakim, Zainuri, said there were gunshot wounds in four holes in Luthfil’s chest.
He admitted that he saw the wound on Luthfil’s genitals. Zainuri suspected that the wound had been trampled. Additionally, several wounds were found on other parts of Luthfil’s body.
“I saw when they bathed me, they looked like they tortured me, on my back like a fist, my genitals were trampled and my cheeks were swollen blue, my hands were detached, shots from close range, four holes [di dada], penetrate backwards. The skin on the back is the same here (on the chest) that is peeling off, “said Zainur.

The late Andi Oktiawan’s family, Umar, also claimed to have found gunshot wounds on Andi’s body. According to him, some of the injuries on Andi’s body were the result of sadistic actions.
“I saw the bathroom, I can’t imagine it, it was so sadistic, the shot was clear point-blank, the condition of the eyes. There were so many shots in the body that there were four in his body, one hole was translucent, I knew the hole was behind from him, black eyes, “he said.
Furthermore, relatives of the victims also said that their relatives’ belongings had not been returned by the police to date.
“The KTP elements weren’t there [dikembalikan]Also, my KTP and usual purse are my kids who carry purse, cell phone, etc., they don’t wear clothes either. [dikembalikan]”Zainuri said.
Meanwhile, Umar and the late Muhammad Reza’s sister Septi said the police should have returned their nephew’s belongings to him.
“Of course, of all my friends, not a single item that I received, yes, it has the deceased, although it is still active sir, yes I am confused if it should be returned,” said Umar.
Anandra conveyed the same. According to him, Khadavi’s belongings, such as mobile phones, handbags and wallets, have not been returned.
“Our family did not receive any cell phone items from Khadavi, or handbags,” Anandra said.
Furthermore, he believes that Khadavi did not carry firearms as demonstrated by the police. According to him, Khadavi’s job was only to control Rizieq, not to wage war.
“We want to make it clear that our children do not carry weapons, or pistols that are reported in the media, because what for that is good intentions not for war,” said Anandra.
Moreover, the head of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Kabareskrim), Commissioner General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, promised a transparent and professional legal process. That is because the police involve the role of the public by opening a complaint service through the Hotline.
Anyone with information related to the case, Listyo continued, can contact investigators or report through the hotline.
“We provide space for the public, which will provide information in the form of direct information that can be given to the investigators of the Criminal Investigation Unit, or through the Hotline that we have prepared with the number 081284298228,” Listyo said in a conference release at the Jakarta Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on Thursday (10/12).
He promised to be transparent and professional in the investigation of the case. This is because, Listyo said, the victim of the assault was a police officer on duty at Polda Metro Jaya.
Meanwhile, regarding the victim’s personal belongings, the Director General of Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Andi Rian Djajadi confirmed that all this was still in the hands of the police as evidence so that it could not be handed over to the family.
“The evidence is that,” Andi Rian Djajadi said when it was confirmed, last Thursday afternoon.
Andi did not elaborate on why her group helped secure the cell phone as evidence. Andi explained that the police also obtained a number of other evidence, including clothing and personal identity cards.
