JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – North Cipete Urban Village boss Nurcahya was beaten by guests from Waroeng Brothers Coffee to Resto at Jalan Kemang Selatan VII B, Cipete Utara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

The incident occurred when Nurcahya and his staff monitored the implementation of Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) at Waroeng Brother Coffee & Resto.

Nurcahya said the beating took place on Saturday (11/21/2020) at 01.00 WIB.

At that time, his group had controlled the crowd of illegal motorcycle racing in Jalan Raya Pangeran Antasari.

“So I finished monitoring the PSBB mass transition at Antasari, then I checked the excavation at Jl. Pelita, North Cipete, South Jakarta, then we saw a crowd at Waroeng Brothers,” Nurcahya said when confirmed.

Nurcahya added, North Cipete Village FKDM and PPSU members then reprimanded the people who gathered at Brothers Coffee & Resto.

The FKDM members then attempted to take documentation in the form of photos and videos of the crowd.

“I’m looking for the owner because it’s already 01.30 WIB, it’s still open and there are hundreds of visitors there,” Nurcahya said.

Several Brothers Coffee & Resto guests suddenly approached and broke the cell phone of an FKDM member.

Nurcahya then asked the cafe owner to go to the village head office for violating the Transitional PSBB.

“I was hit on the right cheek and bruised and I reported the incident to the South Jakarta police. They are suspected of being drunk, ”Nurcahya explained.

The head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police, AKBP, Jimmy Christian Samma, confirmed a report from the North Cipete Village chief.

The results of the midterm examination, he said, were at least three people suspected of being involved in the incident.

“Among the three people, one was holding the head of the village head and the other was pulling the head of the village head. Someone hit the head of the village,” Jimmy said when confirmed.

The village chief was also arrested (so that he would not be beaten) and intervened. The situation was out of control, “added Jimmy.

Jimmy said Nurcahya’s beating started with a guest at Waroeng Brothers Coffee & Resto who refused to be disbanded.

“The thing is, there is a crowd at Waroeng Brothers Coffee & Resto and then the village chief reprimanded him. They don’t accept him so arguing,” Jimmy said.

In addition, the police conducted an investigation and pursued the perpetrators.
