jpnn.com, SOLO – Bagyo Wahyono-FX Suparjo (BaJo) couple stated that they will always criticize Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Teguh Prakosa as mayor and deputy mayor of Surakarta when they are officially declared winners of the 2020 Surakarta elections.

The votes for the independent candidate pair BaJo are known to lag far behind those for the Gibran-Teguh version of the quick count by Charta Politika.

“The government of Mas Gibran and Pak Teguh must be more careful and pro-people. BaJo will always criticize us for being the opposition,” Bagyo Wahyono said in his winning post in Penumping Village, Laweyan district, Solo, Central Java, on Wednesday. (12/9).

Bagyo declared that he and the people of Solo would always protect Gibran’s leadership until the end of his term. He also cautioned against letting Gibran’s leadership make society suffer further.

“We will continue to watch, lest (the Gibran-Teguh leadership) really widen the abyss of tears, the gaps in people’s suffering,” Bagyo said.

Furthermore, Bagyo will also continue to fight for the aspirations of the people and fight against policies that are not pro-people.

“People want to be cool, they don’t join in a broader friction. BaJo is a community fighter because people have rights that must be accepted,” Bagyo said.

Although the results obtained by the BaJo couple were not very encouraging, Bagyo felt that the political contest this time had taught him a valuable lesson.
