jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) issued an official statement to clarify some information on the state of the bodies of six members of the FPI paramilitary troops who were guarding Habib Rizieq, who died in a confrontation on the toll road from Cikampek, on Monday (12/7).

The FPI concluded the status of the six bodies in five points.

First, there is more than one bullet hole throughout the body.

Secondly, that the shots against the members of the laskar had the same objective, that is, that all the shots were directed at the heart of the martyrs (as the FPI calls dead members).

“Third, judging by the bullet marks, in the opinion of the experts who were present at the funeral, the martyrs were shot at point-blank range,” Munarman, FPI secretary general, said in the press release.

Fourth, according to the expert who was present at the bathhouse, some shots were fired into the martyrs’ hearts from the front, the chest and some from behind.

“Fifth, that on the bodies of most of the martyrs, there were signs of torture,” Munarman said.

In the press release, the FPI also thanked all parties that have collaborated in handling the remains of its members.
