According to the results of the Voxpol Center quick count on Wednesday (9/12/2020) at 6:02 p.m. WIB, the Mahyeldi Ansharullah-Audy Joinaldy couple was still ahead with 32.87 percent of the votes in the 2020 West Sumatra Pilkada. This number was obtained from 87.33 percent of the vote samples that were sent to the Voxpol Center.
The second position is held by the number 2 candidate pair, namely incumbent deputy governor Nasrul Abit – Indra Catri with 35.25 percent of the votes, followed by the number 1 candidate pair, Mulyadi – Ali Mukhni with the 25.25 percent. Meanwhile, the No. 3 candidate pair, Fakhrizal – Genius Umar, received 10.21 percent of the vote.
Meanwhile, according to the results of the Poltracking Indonesia quick count, the Mahyeldi-Audi pair got 32.78 percent of the votes, followed by Nasrul – Indra’s candidate pair with 30.84 percent, Mulyadi – Ali. with 26.53 percent and Fakhrizal – Umar with 9.85 votes. This number was obtained from 87.60 percent of the vote samples sent to Poltracking Indonesia.
Mahyeldi – Audy is the couple promoted by PKS and PPP. Meanwhile Nasrul – Indra has the support of the Gerindra Party. Paslon Mulyadi – Ali was promoted by the Democratic Party and the PAN, while Fakhrizal – Umar, who was a pair of non-partisan candidates, was promoted by the Golkar, NasDem and PKB parties.
