LIVE – Solo Mayor FX Hadi Rudyatmo argued with the number 2 candidate couple’s witness, Bagyo Wahyono-FX Supardjo (Bass) during the vote. The debate was related to the origin of the Bajo witness who came from outside the city of Solo.

As is known, Solo Pilkada was followed by only two candidates, namely, the Gibran-Teguh pair number 1 and the Bagyo-Supardjo pair.

Rudy, the mayor’s nickname, arrived at the TPS around 08:51 WIB from the Loji Gandrung Office House.

“Yes, it was a bit late because I took care of my wife, who used to be isolated independently after being beaten tracking the driver who is positive for COVID-19. Although the results were negative, he stayed home, ”he told reporters on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

After voting, Rudy argued with a witness from Bajo. Rudi opposes his home from outside the city. Rudy also asked witnesses to move from inside the TPS area to outside the TPS area. “Yes, I don’t care. What is clear is that this is a problem everywhere,” he said.

He questioned the address of the witness because in the current pandemic season it is necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19, especially to residents outside the city.

“The residents do not want to be with them because they are from out of town,” said the former Jokowi MP during his tenure as mayor of Solo.

Rudy admitted that his cadres had complained about the existence of the witness to the Solo General Electoral Commission (KPU). The neighbors complained because the witnesses came at night and did not ask the neighbors for permission.

“Yes, because it is regulated in the PKPU (Regulation of the General Electoral Commission), so go ahead. Their complaint was that they entered without permission from the neighbors, although they were from outside the city. Last night there were many who dissolved the witnesses of the Low, ”he said.

The Low Team witness who served at TPS 18 Pucangsawit Urban Village, Djoko Heru Angkoso, admitted that he had obtained an assignment letter from his team. The one who came from Kudus became a witness with his wife. He said the team didn’t mention that they had to inform residents first.

“I didn’t know that to be a witness you had to report it to local residents. If they ask me to report, of course I will. I also brought a letter Quick test of Kudus, “he said.

Djoko admitted that he had no problem moving from inside the TPS area to the outside. However, his appointment as a witness did not violate the PKPU, even though he came from outside the city. Even from a procedural point of view, there are no written rules for informing local residents.

“KPPS agreed and invited me to sit there. In fact, we did not inform the residents because there was no such information, ”he said.
