JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – One of the families of FPI Laskar members who died in the incident at the Cikampek Turnpike hopes the state will enforce applicable law.

The family also asked the perpetrators of the FPI Laskar shooting who died to be prosecuted.

“We hope that the Indonesian state will enforce the law,” said Suhada, a representative of the victim’s family.

Furthermore, Suhada also believed that her son and other members of the FPI Laskar were not carrying weapons.

“I also do not accept if it is said that my son and the six mujahid carry weapons, although we know exactly who and where is active,” Suhada told reporters at the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (8/12) .

Suhada also regretted the attitude of the police who did not immediately inform the family of this incident.

“You bring your family, I bring my family. We are discussing whether my son carries a gun or not, later who will be cursed by Allah SWT,” he said.

“So that’s one thing, we are trying to convince our children not to carry weapons, where they come from,” Suhada added.
