Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Family member of one of the Laskar Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) who died in shock with the device Police on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road on Monday morning (July 12), she refused to allow her son to be said to be carrying a weapon.
The victim’s father, Faiz Ahmad Syukur, Suhada guaranteed that it was impossible for his son to carry a firearm while guarding the leader of the FPI, Rizieq Shihab.
“I also do not accept if it is said that my son and the six mujahid carry weapons, although we know exactly who and where is active,” Suhada told reporters at the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (8/12) .
Suhada admitted that she was shocked when she watched television. The reason is that at that time the soldiers who died were said to carry sharp weapons and even firearms.
He then invited the police to discuss with the family through Islamic law, namely muhabalah or loyalty oath or curse.
“You bring your family, I bring my family. We are discussing whether my son carries a gun or not, later who will be cursed by Allah SWT,” he said.
“So that’s one thing, we are trying to convince our children not to carry weapons, where they come from,” Suhada added.
According to him, the police statement accusing the laskar members of attacking first is also questionable. The reason was that at that time the group was accompanying Rizieq, who is a role model in the group.
So, he continued, it was highly unlikely that the laskar members would attack the aircraft while in charge of escorting their leader.
“We believe this is an extrajudicial death, it does not matter,” Suhada said.
Previously, a clash between the police and Rizieq supporters took place on the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 toll road on Monday (7/12) around 00.30 WIB. As a result of the incident, six Rizieq supporters were killed.
