The team of lawyers from the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) returned to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, in East Jakarta. The arrival of the FPI demanded that the 6 bodies of FPI Laskar fired on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road be removed immediately.

“We have coordinated with the leadership to expedite the transfer of the body. Because, parents are still asking for news of their children, if they are here, please send them home if there isn’t, please notify them. I see“said FPI lawyer Rinaldi Putra at the Police Hospital in East Jakarta on Tuesday (August 12, 2020).

The FPI is still waiting for clarifications from the Police investigators on the repatriation of the 6 bodies. FPI hopes the body will be buried soon.

“Before we communicate with the leadership, yes, if not today we cannot do it, this is already in Islam for one day too, right? The meaning is not maybe two days, so it does not rule out the possibility,” Rinaldi said.

Rinaldi said his group would continue to wait at the Police Hospital until the body was allowed to leave. In addition, the body is scheduled to be transferred to Petamburan, in central Jakarta.

“Until his body was taken away,” Rinaldi said.

“If it has been issued, God willing, we will first take it to Petamburan to be bathed, as well as for the shroud,” Rinaldi added.
