BOGOR, KOMPAS.com – The police will immediately determine the suspect in the swab test case (swab test) leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab, who conducted the MER-C at Ummi Hospital, Bogor, West Java.
This is because the police have found elements of a criminal act and raised the status of the case to the investigation stage.
“We have not named a suspect, but as soon as possible it will be done,” said Bogor City Police Chief Mr. Comr. Hendri Fiuser, on Tuesday (8/12/2020).
Police continue to explore the criminal element in the case.
So far, 25 people have been questioned by the investigation team on the case, from the board of directors of Ummi Hospital, MER-C, to the mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya.

From the results of the examination, it was found that there was an element of crime in the case swab test Rizieq Shihab until politics elevates the state of affairs to the investigative level.
“Yes, there were criminal events (elements). The investigation is how the investigator finds out whether or not a criminal incident was reported,” Hendri said.
Hendri added that, during the witness cross-examination process, the investigation team focused on questions about standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling and preventing Covid-19.
Including the cooperation and reporting system of the Ummi Hospital as a Covid-19 referral hospital with the Covid Working Group of the City of Bogor.
“Everything deviates from procedure. From there you can see everything,” Hendri said.

He said investigators would recall witnesses for questioning.
Investigators also had the opportunity to present new witnesses in the case to strengthen the evidence.
Previously, the Bogor City Covid-19 Task Force informed the President Director of Ummi Andi Tatat Hospital to the Bogor City Police Headquarters.
