JAKARTA, iNews.id – Police shot a group suspected of supporting Habib Rizieq Shihab on the Jakarta Cikampek toll road. They were from the Special Laskar for the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) in charge of escorting Habib Rizieq.
FPI Secretary General Munarman emphasized that Habib Rizieq Shihab and his entourage were leaving Jakarta when there was an incident of ambush by non-uniformed persons.
Munarman said that Habib Rizieq initially rested in Megamendung and later moved to Sentul, Bogor Regency. Then, on Sunday evening, December 6, 2020, Habib Rizieq left Sentul to go to the recitation site at a family home outside Jakarta.
“So this is not a party with four family cars. In the car are his wife, his children and his son-in-law, that is, there is a woman in the car and a grandson. Two people are still babies, three are small children So in Habib Rizieq’s group There are babies and toddlers. That’s what I want to emphasize. Munarman said Habib Rizieq was escorted by four cars. Then, leaving Jakarta at midnight, the FPI High Priest’s group was intercepted. It turned out that they had followed Habib Rizieq’s group since they left the Sentul Turnpike.
“On the road around 00.30 at night, his entourage was escorted by four army cars. On the road there were people who had been stalking him since he left Sentul. Then they followed him and finally these stalkers cut off for any purpose,” said.
