Tottenham Hotspur successfully passed three tough tests consistently. Now Liverpool is waiting for Lilywhites on December 17th.

Tottenham’s last three Premier League games have been tough considering they have to face Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal. The three teams were not random opponents.

The advantage for Tottenham is that two of the big three games were played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. North London troops maximized it well, starting against the City.

In that match, Tottenham was able to win 2-0 with goals from Son Heung-min and Giovani Lo Celso. Then continuing when they visited the Chelsea cage, the same team is on fire this season too.

Tottenham managed to maintain Chelsea’s goalless draw last week at Stamford Bridge. Finally, Arsenal visited their headquarters on Sunday (12/6/2020) last night.

Mercilessly, Tottenham edged their city rivals 2-0 with goals from Son and Harry Kane. Three important games, seven points, four goals and no goals, a positive streak for Tottenham, of course.

“We can lose anywhere in the Premier League, we can visit any team and lose, all teams can come here and beat us,” coach José Mourinho said. Four, Four, Two.

“Of course people can expect that to happen to us in the last three games, 3-4 points, or lose once and get six points,” he continued.

“We got seven points, we did not concede a single goal against these extraordinary teams, of course we are in a good moment. The mentality of this team is good, but we do not want them to put us to sleep.”

Yes, José Mourinho knows that his players must not let themselves lull because they are still waiting for another tough game next week at Anfield, against reigning champions Liverpool. Before that, Tottenham will face Royal Antwerp and Crystal Palace first.

Liverpool now keep Tottenham Hotspur at the top of the standings with 24 points, but lost on goal difference.
