JAKARTA – Commission for the Eradication of Corruption ( NCP ) opens the opportunity to investigate whether the suspect Juliari Peter Batubara as Minister of Social Affairs is suspicious or not of whether the flow of bribes to the DPP PDIP .

The president of the KPK, general commissioner of the police, Firli Bahuri, stated that the investigators would carry out a series of developments on the alleged case of bribery of the provision of social assistance packages for the management of Covid-19 in the Ministry of Indonesian Social Affairs in 2020 with a value of around Rp 5.9 billion with a total of 272 contracts and carried out with 2 periods. Firli emphasized that the alleged bribery of Juliari Peter Batubara was divided into two parts.

First, 8.2 billion rupees administered by Eko and Shelvy N as secretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Juliari’s confidant. The ink figure is part of the total Rs 12 billion fee associated with the implementation of the first period of the basic food assistance packages.

Rp12 billion was delivered for the first time by the alleged bribery recipient Matheus Joko Santoso as responsible for the commitment of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) (PPK) and owner of PT Rajawali Parama Indonesia (RPI) to Juliari through Adi Wahyono as PPK of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Head of the General Office of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Social Affairs. . From Adi, Eko and Shelvy managed 8.2 billion rupees.

Second, an amount of around 800 million rupees that is also suspected to be used for Juliari’s needs. This money corresponds to the second period of implementation of the basic food assistance packages, which were collected from October to December 2020. If they are added together, the total for Juliari is 17 billion IDR.

Firli explained that Juliari’s total figure was different from the amount of money confiscated during the arrest operation (OTT), which was around 14.5 billion IDR. This means that, he said, around 2.5 billion rupees had been used. In addition, he said, in the first income, Rp 12 billion minus Rp 8.2 billion, so there was a difference of Rp 3.8 billion.
