Facts about the drug case of a former child with IBS, positive for Sabu even though the police did not find a cure

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The former child artist with the initials RFA aka IBS was again arrested by the police for alleged drug abuse.

IBS was arrested by South Jakarta Police Satnarkoba at his home in Kramat Sentiong, Johar Baru area, Central Jakarta on Thursday (03/12/2020) evening.

“Last night our team from the South Jakarta Police Narcotics Unit arrested someone with the initials IBS. The person in question was a former child artist,” said South Jakarta Police Chief of Narcotics, Kompol Wadi. Sabani, on Friday (12/4/2020).

Until now, researchers are still investigating irritable bowel syndrome in regards to drug-related arrests.

However, based on the results of urine tests that have been performed, the IBS tested positive for methamphetamine use.

“We have checked the urine, the results (IBS) are positive,” said Wadi.

Find the methamphetamine suction device

Wadi said his staff had found evidence in the form of a methamphetamine suction device and paper clips when they arrested IBS.

It’s just that the police found no methamphetamine. IBS is suspected of using crystalline methamphetamine prior to arrest.

“(I found) the device that is used for smoking, if (shabu) runs out,” Wadi said.

Until now, the police are still investigating the case against IBS.

Police have yet to name a suspect in regards to the IBS arrest.

“Not yet, we will examine it first, we will delve into it first. To what extent participation is related to drug abuse,” Wadi said.

Has never been arrested

This is not the first time that IBS has been arrested by the police on drug abuse charges.

In March 2011, IBS was arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police because they were caught using shabu.

IBS was arrested in room 208 of the Penthouse Hotel in the Mangga Besar area, West Jakarta, at 10 pm WIB.

The then head of the General Information Section of the National Police, Kombes Pol Boy Rafli Amar, confirmed the arrest of IBS with methamphetamine evidence.

“He was alone in the room. They caught him carrying 0.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine along with a suction device,” Boy Rafli said at the National Police Headquarters at the time.

The results of the intermediate examination at the time, the police said that IBS was categorized as a methamphetamine user.

IBS is also a suspect in article 112 of Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotic Drugs.

The son of one of the veteran actors was sentenced to one year in prison during the trial in West Jakarta District Court.
