JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Investigators at Polda Metro Jaya have examined a man with the initials H who was arrested for distributing a video calling for jihad in the call to prayer until it went viral on social media.
The results of the police investigation, H’s motive was only to distribute the video.
“The provisional result, the reason is him (H) to just spread it, but the details will be explored later,” Polda Metro Jaya Public Relations chief Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus told reporters on Friday (12/4 / 2020).
Yusri explained: H got the video from a group on WhatsApp (WA) called Muslim Cyber One News Forum (FMCONews).

However, Yusri himself did not know about H’s role in the group that was formed since 2017.
Until now, the police are still investigating H to develop him to the video maker.
“He just said he found (the video) in the group. We are still investigating the WA group and everything,” Yusri said.
Police arrested H in the Cakung area of East Jakarta on Thursday.
H’s arrest began with a public report on the circulation of a video that was deemed to have caused a commotion.
The video broadcast by H shows a group of pilgrims who want to pray.
As for the muezzin, he changed the pronunciation “hayya ala al-solah” to “hayya ala al-jihad”.

H spread the video in a massive way through his personal Instagram account @hashophasan.
According to the examination results, H was recorded as working as a document courier for a private transport company in Jakarta.
As for H, it is suspected that article 28 together with article 45 of the Normor Law 19 of 2019 on the change of Number 18 of 2008 on ITE threatens six years in prison.
Article 156a of the Penal Code is also believed to calm a person who commits hostile acts with the threat of five years in prison and Article 160 of the Penal Code against sedition, which is a threat of six years in prison.
