Harianjogja.com, JOGJA–The daily positive DIY additions broke the record again. The DIY Covid-19 manipulation working group announced up to 189 additional positive cases on Thursday (03/12/2020). The spokesperson for the DIY Regional Government for the Management of Covid-19, Berty Murtiningsih, explained that the sum of cases based on the address includes 41 cases from the city of Yogyakarta, 26 cases from Bantul, 6 cases from Kulonprogo, 9 cases Gunungkidul and 107 Sleman cases.

One dead case was reported, Case 5,694, 58-year-old female, Bantul, with comorbid pneumonia. Recovered cases based on domicile include 14 cases from Jogja City, 13 cases from Bantul, 3 cases from Kulonprogo, 8 cases from Gunungkidul and 39 cases from Sleman.
With this addition, the total of positive DIY cases rose to 6,384 cases, with details of 1,663 active cases, 4,573 recovered cases and 148 deceased cases. While the use of beds in the critical referral hospital was 33 beds, the remaining 29 beds. For critical use 397 beds, the remaining 95 beds.
With the many additional positive cases, Yogyakarta Regional Secretary Kadarmanta Baskara Aji appealed to the public not to engage in activities that may cause crowds, especially during the upcoming New Year holidays.
