Former BPK member Rizal Djalil was arrested by the KPK in a bribery case for a project to build a drinking water supply system (SPAM) at the Ministry of PUPR. Rizal then sings when he is about to be thrown into a holding cell.
“There is nothing to regret, I just flow like the water of the Musi and Batang Hari rivers. I will definitely get to the estuary later,” Rizal said as he was escorted to a detention car at the KPK, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta , on Thursday (3/12/2020).
“And it will definitely reach the estuary, yes, for me, snakehead fish, the sooner the better,” he added.
Rizal hopes that the case that dragged him does not tarnish the good name of the BPK institution. He also said that the BPK audit team had worked optimally.
“Alone I want to emphasize. I hope that this incident does not harm the institution, because after all the BPK auditors have worked optimally, ”said Rizal.
It is known that the KPK arrested two suspects in the alleged bribery case for the construction project of the drinking water supply system (SPAM) at the Ministry of PUPR. The two suspects are former BPK member Rizal Djalil and PT Minarta Duta Hutama President Commissioner Leonardo Jusminarta Prasetyo.
“Today, the RIZ suspect is a former member of BPK and LJP Chairman Commissioner of PT MD in a case of development of an alleged bribery related to a system project in the Ministry of Public Works and Housing,” said the leader of KPK Nurul Ghufron at a press conference at the KPK building, Jalan Kuningan Persada, in South Jakarta on Thursday (3/11).
“For the purposes of the investigation, the KPK will stop for the next 20 days from December 3 to December 22, 2020.”
RIZ was detained at the KPK Detention Center, while LJP was held at the Guntur Jaya Regional Police Prison. Before being thrown into a holding cell, the two will be isolated independently at the C1 branch of the KPK detention center.
“The detainees will be isolated independently for 14 days,” he said.
