“(We apply) proportional PSBB,” Bandung Mayor Oded M Danial said at Bandung City Hall on Thursday (March 12, 2020).

In addition, the economic sector that has been relaxed, such as modern stores, hotels and entertainment venues, which previously had a visit capacity of 50 percent due to the re-implementation of the Proportional PSBB, was reduced to 30 percent. In addition, operating hours have been reduced.
“When dealing with COVID-19, how do you deal with the health pole and the economic pole? When we are in a pretty good situation at 50 percent, but when our red zone (drops to 30 percent),” he said.
Despite the proportional PSBB being implemented again, there will be no checkpoints in Bandung.
“There are no control points, they are proportional (only). They only differ from 50 percent to 30 percent, and they limit the hours from 21.00 WIB to 20.00 WIB,” he explained.
According to him, the policy will be implemented after Mayor’s Regulation (Perwal) No. 52 is revised with a new regulation.
“When the Perwal comes out and I sign it, God willing, tonight. Now that it’s being discussed, the Perwal will become a legal section, hopefully it will be finished tonight,” he said.
Oded also said that Microscale Social Restrictions (PSBM) can be applied, if there is a presentation from the regional party “Same, yes,” he said.
Furthermore, in this proportional PSBB there will be no social safety net (JPS) for the residents of Bandung City.
