MANTRA SUKABUMI – As has been known for several days, reports circulated that Benny Wenda proclaimed himself the interim president of West Papua.

Not only that, it also declared the independence of the Morning Star country from the Republic of Indonesia.

This suddenly prompted former RI DPR Vice President Fadli Zon to comment by asking the government that it considers itself too busy dealing with the problem of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Grand Imam Habib Rizieq Shihab.

He highlighted the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, the Coordinating Minister of Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD, as well as the TNI commander and police chief about Benny Wenda, who said that he had challenged the Indonesian government.



Earlier, it was reported that Benny Wenda declared himself interim president of West Papua and declared the Morning Star country’s independence from the Republic of Indonesia.

In response to this, the president of the DPR RI Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP), Fadli Zon, gave a statement in a tweet posted on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 through his Twitter account @fadlizon.
