MANTRA SUKABUMI – The Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab and his son-in-law, Habib Hanif Alatas, did not respond to the call from Polda Metro Jaya.
The two will be examined as witnesses in a case of alleged violation of health protocols that occurred in Petamburan on Saturday, November 14, 2020.
However, Habib Rizieq’s lawyer, Aziz Yanuar, denied that Habib Rizieq was absent. He said Habib Rizieq was represented by a lawyer.

“We explain that Rizieq Shihab cannot comply with the Police summons. This is not absent, it is not absent, it is represented by a team of lawyers,” he was quoted as saying by mantrasukabumi.com from Antara on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
Aziz explained that Habib Rizieq was unable to attend because he was resting after being discharged from the hospital some time ago.
“The reason was that he could not comply with the police summons because he was taking a break because he had just been discharged from Bogor Ummi Hospital, which means he was in a recovery period,” he explained.
However, when asked if Habib Rizieq had submitted the hospital letter, Aziz said that his party was still processing the letter.
