jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD spoke about his mother’s house which was raided by a mob in Pamekasan, Madura, East Java on Tuesday (1/12).

Through his personal account @mohmahfud on Twitter, Mahfud admits that he always avoids taking action against people for personal reasons.

He is reluctant to be judged by the public as selfish if he takes action against people for it. He relayed this after obtaining a video of the Mass visiting his parents’ home.

“I always try to avoid taking action against people who attack me personally, for fear of being selfish and arbitrary, because I have a position. I am willing to be firm in other cases that do not harm me,” Mahfud said through his Twitter account .

However, he said, the incident in Pamekasan did not attack him personally. The group had harassed his mother, although Mahfud did not explain whether he will prosecute the incident or not.

“This time they molested my mother, not Menko Polhukam,” Mahfud said.

Previously, a 20-second video was circulated that recorded the crowd attacking a house. It seems that most of the crowds that turned out were wearing caps.

A video recorder said that the masses stormed the home of Mahfud MD in Pamekasan, Madura, East Java. On the other hand, another mob shouted Mahfud from outside the house.
