jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The Chief of the National Police, Gen. Idham Azis, immediately ordered the Tinombala Task Force to pursue the East Indonesian Mujahiddin (MIT) group that massacred a family in Sigi, Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi) last Friday (11/27).
The four-star general ordered his men to shoot down the group led by Ali Kalora if they resisted arrest.
“I have told the members, their firm action. If you find them fighting, just shoot to death,” Idham said in his statement, Monday (11/30).
The former head of Bareskrim Polri also emphasized that the state must not lose to terrorist groups that have committed acts of murder against the community regardless of their excuses.
The number one person in the Bhayangkara Corps added that, in addition to the National Police, the TNI commander, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, had also deployed TNI troops to find and surround the Ali Kalora group.
“We will look for various places where Ali Kalora’s group has been hiding,” Idham said.
President Jokowi previously admitted that he had ordered the Chief of the National Police, General Idham Azis, and the TNI commander, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, to deal with the terrorist attack.
He asked the Chief of the National Police to thoroughly investigate the perpetrators of the terror to the roots. He also ordered the Commander to deploy his troops to protect the areas that were being attacked by terror.
