KOMPAS.com – Up to 10 people were killed in an accident that occurred on the Cipali Km 78 + 500 toll road in Purwakarta Regency, West Java, on Monday (11/30/2020) around 03:00 WIB.
After these accidents, the police have processed the crime scene (TKP) using the method traffic accident analysis (TTA). While the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
“So we don’t know the cause of the accident,” West Java Police Traffic Director Kombes Pol Eddy Djunaedi said via text message on Monday.

Eddy said the accident involved three vehicles, namely two Tronton vehicles and one Elf vehicle.
The accident started when an Elf vehicle with police number G 1261 D came from Jakarta to Cirebon.
While passing the scene, the Elf’s car collided with a tronton truck with police number R 1857 in front of it.

Then the tronton vehicle crashed into another trontoon with the number UEJ B 9010 in front of it.
“So the first tronton truck suddenly stopped due to the engine, after that the second tronton truck crashed, then it was Elf who hit it,” he said.

Still, Eddy said, all the victims who died and were injured by Elf’s vehicle.
Of the 10 victims who died, only eight have been identified, namely Kiswoyo (47), a Pemalang resident elf driver, and Ehwan Setiawan (43), a Pekalongan resident.
Then the passengers were Afrizal (45) from Tanah Datar, Vina (25) from Pekalongan, Sumitri (60) from Pemalang, Saepudin (41) from Pekalongan, Sudirjo (46) from Pemalang and Rasbowibowo (55) from Pekalongan.
“Others are still being identified,” he said.
