Manchester City made a strong comeback after beating Burnley 5-0. Previously, he failed to score more than one goal in the last six Premier League games.

City massacred Burnley 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium in the 10th game of the Premier League on Sunday (11/29/2020) at the morning WIB. Five goals from Pep Guardiola’s men in this match came from hat-tricks by Riyad Mahrez, Benjamin Mendy and Ferran Torres.

This crushing victory saw City finally win again in the Premier League after not feeling it in the previous two matches. They also ended the scoring crisis in the Premier League.

Before the game against Burnley, City had never scored more than one in six consecutive Premier League games. This is clearly an anomaly, considering that City were the most fertile team in the Premier League last season with 102 goals.

The clogging of City’s goal taps is one reason many of its pillars are injured. Now, after a slow hurricane of injuries, Manchester Blue Team can once again be productive.

The city’s coach, Pep Guardiola, welcomed his troops who returned in good shape. He considered this to reduce the pressure on City forwards. The Spanish coach is confident that City’s goal touches will flow quickly again in the following matches.

“Obviously this will help us. It is important for us to score goals and keep doing it,” Guardiola said from the Man City official website.

“Especially for Riyad, Gabriel and Sterling they are led to score goals while they play. We have to score goals, that’s why they are here and playing up front.”

“The most important thing now is that we have almost 21 players in shape; this is very important. We have players who are getting tired and need to rest.

“But players who defend well and score goals will keep playing. It’s not about rotation, they’ll keep playing before they get really tired,” Guardiola explained.
