“The implementation of the PNS salary formula will be done in stages. It begins with the process of changing the payroll system, which was originally based on rank, space class and tenure, leading to a payroll system based on in the prices of the stalls ”, he explained.

Meanwhile, the formula for civil servant benefits will include performance allowances and costly allowances.

“The formulation of the performance allocation is based on the performance achievements of each official. Meanwhile, the formulation of the costly allocation is based on the price index that prevails in each region,” he said.

Also, Paryono said that this formulation took a long time. Because this is also related to other regulations such as pension, old-age and health insurance for officials.

In addition, Paryono also emphasized that all policies to determine the income of public officials are closely related to the financial situation of the state. So it requires extra careful effort.

“And it must be supported by deep and complete simulation and analysis results. To be able to produce new policies of rank, salary, allowances and facilities for public servants. This is so that in the future it does not have a negative impact, both on welfare of the civil servants as in the financial situation of the state ”, concluded.

For his part, the Director General of Budget of the Ministry of Finance, Askolani, said that in terms of employment and payroll policies in 2021, public officials only receive THR and a thirteenth salary, even for retirees.
