Jokowi officially establishes Pilkada on December 9 as a national holiday

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially established December 9, 2020 as the day National holiday. It is known that this date was the day of the vote Pilkada Simultaneously.

For your information, Pilkada 2020 will hold 270 elections in one day. A total of 100,359,152 voters in 309 districts / cities will participate in this regional election.

The election to be held on December 9 is expected to be the regional election with the largest number of regions and the first election during the pandemic.

So far, more than 100 KPU and Bawaslu officers have been infected with the corona virus during the 2020 concurrent Pilkada stages.

The largest number is in Boyolali Regency, Central Java. Last August, 96 election supervision officers in the Boyolali district tested positive for Covid-19.
