A Sigi Regency family, Central Sulawesi, was murdered by an unknown person (OTK) in very sad conditions. Gomar Gultom, president of the Indonesian Association of Churches (PGI), called on the security forces to solve this case.
Gomar Gultom was initially concerned about the death of a family in Sigi as a result of being killed by OTK. Gomar has empathy for the victim and the residents who live around the victim’s home.
“I am very concerned about the violence that occurred in Lewonu Hamlet, Lembantongoa Village, Central Sulawesi, where the Salvation Army houses of worship and 6 houses were burned, 4 residents were sadistically killed. I express my compassion to the families left behind and to the Salvation Army, “Gomar said in a written statement, Saturday (11/28/2020).
“Incidents that are very sad like this remind us of several recurring incidents that have occurred sporadically in the Central Sulawesi area,” he added.
The death of a family in Sigi, Central Sulawesi, occurred on Friday (11/27). Gomar asked the security apparatus to resolve this case so that the community would be free from violence.
“In relation to this, I strongly request that the security apparatus resolve the remains of terrorist fighters, so that people are free from the threat of terror, especially in the surroundings of Poso and Sigi. The presence of the State is needed in all areas. corners of the country to restore a sense of security in the community, “he said.
A family that died were husband and wife, their children and their son-in-law. Gomar also appealed to all elements of society not to allow themselves to be provoked by this incident and to hand it over fully to the security apparatus.
