Commission for the Eradication of Corruption (NCP) again performed a manual capture operation (OTT). This time, anti-corruption agencies arrested the mayor of Cimahi, Ajay Muhammad Priatna.
“The mayor of Cimahi was arrested by KPK,” said KPK chief Firli Bahuri. CNNIndonesia.com, Friday (11/27).
“The alleged walkot has committed corruption in the hospital construction acquisition project in Cimahi,” added Firli.
Firli declined to speak further about the arrest of the regional chief. The three-star general asked for time to work on the alleged corruption in the city of Cimahi.
“Please give us time to work first,” he said.
The KPK has also not disclosed who the parties were and what evidence was obtained in the silent operation.
Prior to this, the KPK had also investigated the corruption case of former Cimahi mayor Atty Suharti in 2016. At that time, Atty was named a bribery suspect with her husband, M Itoch Tochija.
