The head of the Police Patrol and Escort Unit of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Argo Wiyono, said that currently the owner of the car with the initials M is still being examined by officers of the Subdirectorate of the Traffic Police of Metro Jaya Police in Gakkum.
“To know the modus operandi, while the temporary vehicle is insured in the Sub-directorate of Gakkum (Sub-directorate of Law Enforcement),” Argo said in a written statement on Wednesday (11/25).
So far, car owners can be charged under article 280 in conjunction with article 68 paragraph 1 of Law Number 22 of 2009 on traffic and road transport.
This is because the owner of the white Pajero car was caught with a fake police number, namely RI 1.
Based on the test results, the car is known to have the police number DD577PT. The plate is a license plate for the South Sulawesi area.
“With regard to the illegal use of TNKB (motor vehicle number) or according to its designation, the threat is a fine of 500 lakhs,” Argo said.
Previously, a white Mitsubishi Pajero with RI license plate number 1 broke into the National Police Headquarters on Wednesday (11/25).
Based on the information from the owner of the car, the interested party went to the National Police Headquarters to convey his aspirations.
“Fulfilling aspirations on behalf of the KPORI (Indonesian People’s Organization Association), which expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of the Indonesian government and president,” Argo said.
