PD Compare Democracy in the SBY era
The Democratic Party (PD) referred to the current state of democracy, which is considered unhealthy.
“Surely you have to ask Mas Anies Baswedan. However, if you look at the conditions, democracy is currently not healthy,” BPOKK Democratic Party head Herman Khaeron told reporters on Monday (11/23/2020).
Herman compared the current democratic conditions to the era of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). Herman assessed that the democracy of the SBY era was developing well.
Herman then highlighted the current state of democracy. He considered that the current situation seemed to have lost the value of the reform.
“There are many activists who have been critically accused and found guilty, as if the values of the reform have been lost,” he added.
