jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Finance Minister Sri Mulyani revealed that the salary of PPPK teachers (government employees with labor agreements) is IDR 4.06 million.
The salary is calculated for teachers who are married and have two children.
The salary increase, according to Sri Mulyani, is a government effort to improve the well-being of teachers in Indonesia.
When the status is honorary, the salary is below the standard, when it is designated by the PPPK there is an increase in welfare.
“We warmly welcome the efforts of the Ministry of Education and Culture to recruit 1 million PPPK teachers. Of course, this has been done with care,” Sri Mulyani said in announcing the PPPK 2021 teacher selection online on Monday. (11/23).
He said there are currently 1.6 million honorary teachers serving in public and private schools.
If today’s recruitment could occur, it would certainly reduce or in this case change the honorary status to PPPK.
He admitted that the well-being of honorary professors is very different from that of the state civil apparatus (ASN).
