Determined as a suspect, Millen Cyrus will be held in a men’s cell

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Tanjung Priok Harbor Police Chief AKBP Ahrie Sonta said the suspect in the alleged drug abuse case, Millen Cyrus, will be detained in the men’s cell.

However, Ahrie said that Millen Cyrus has yet to be investigated by investigators from the Tanjung Priok port police.

“Yes, at KTP he (Millen) is a man,” Ahrie said at a press conference at the Tanjung Priok Port Police in North Jakarta on Monday (11/23/2020).

Based on the initial examination, Ahrie said that singer Ashanty’s nephew had used methamphetamine several times.

“According to the confession, how many times did he use it, at the hotel, in Bali and at the suspect’s events,” Ahrie said.

Until now, Ahrie said, Millen Cyrus’ family had visited the Tanjung Priok port police to visit him.

However, Ahrie was unable to reveal who had visited the Millen Cyrus family.

Millen Cyrus is known to have been arrested early Sunday (11/22/2020) at one of the hotels in North Jakarta.

Not only, the police also arrested a man with the initials JR when they searched Millen Cyrus at the hotel.

Along with the arrest, evidence was also obtained. These include 0.36 grams of shabu-shabu, a suction device, and the rest of the Black Labels alcoholic beverage.

Millen Cyrus’ urine test results came back positive for methamphetamine, while JR was negative for drugs.

After being identified as a suspect, Millen Cyrus was charged under Article 127, paragraph 1, letter a, of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotic Drugs.
