The child suspected of being kleptomania had the initials B.

Because he was 8 years old, B received different treatment from the authorities.

The Nunukan district government is trying to rehabilitate B so that his attitude can improve.

At the end of December 2019, the Nunukan Regency Government through Dinsos sent him to the Social Rehabilitation Center in Bambu Apus Jakarta.

However, after only 6 months of career, the rehab center sent him home due to B’s delinquency which was deemed out of reason.

Whereas six months is usually enough time to handle someone.

Social Service Secretary Yaksi Belaning Pratiwi said that B during his rehabilitation showed no signs of improvement.

Even at the rehab center, B even stole a bicycle.

“At Bambu Apus, he even stole people’s bicycles, stole money from his coach and bought cigarettes and distributed them to friends there and many other shenanigans. The bad boys who were about to recover there were ported again wrong with B, so then sent home, “said Yaksi, on Thursday (11/19/2020).

I don’t know what made B so naughty. However, family conditions can be a contributing factor.

Shocking data revealed by Yaksi. According to data from social workers (Peksos), father B used to mix shabu-shabu with B’s milk since he was 2 months old.

“The reason is not to be fussy. It alters the mentality of the child,” he said.

Maybe that’s what makes B painless and courageous.

His father is still in prison for being caught in a drug case.

Meanwhile, the mother is unable to care for her son because she concentrates on working as a seaweed labor force.

Seeing this phenomenon, the police chief assessed that the child could not be handled in the usual way.
