Portimao –
MotoGP 2020 has ended with the completion of the race in Portugal. Below are the final positions of the 2020 MotoGP riders.
In the Portuguese MotoGP held at the Autodromo Algavre, Portimao, on Sunday (11/22/2020) at WIB night, Miguel Oliveira successfully won it after smoking Jack Miller and Franco Morbidelli.
Oliveira successfully won his second race this season, having previously triumphed in Styria MotoGP. However, Oliveira only finished ninth in the standings with 125 points.
Meanwhile, Joan Mir has secured the title since the Valencia race last week. Sadly, Mir failed to score points after failing to finish in this race and surviving with 171 points.
Mir was “only” 13 points ahead of runner-up Franco Morbidelli, who finished third in the Portuguese MotoGP. Morbidelli successfully clinched second with 158 points, 19 ahead of Alex Rins, who finished third.
Andrea Dovizioso closed his Ducati career by finishing fourth thanks to 135 points followed by Pol Espargaró (135 points), Maverick Vinales (132 points), Jack Miller (132 points) and Fabio Quartararo (127 points).
Quartararo has certainly been the most sweltering runner on his journey this season. After a long time at the top of the standings, Quartararo drastically lowered his position because he only accumulated 21 points in the last six series.
Rounding out the top 10 position in the final standings is Takaaki Nakagami with 116 points. Alex Márquez in his debut season finished 14th with 74 points, while Valentino Rossi was right up there with 66 points.
