Have your own health team, FPI and Habib Rizieq Refuse the swab test

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) allows any request swab test (hyssop test) to their leader, Muhammad Rizieq Shihab. However, Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS) and FPI rejected the request.

According to FPI legal advisor Aziz Yanuar, the request for a hyssop test came from the Tanah Abang police.

“Kapolsek and his staff, there were three people there who came to (Jalan) Petamburan III to ask about HRS’s health status, then he replied that he was fine,” Aziz said in his statement to Kompas TV journalist Ihsan Sitorus on Sunday. (11/22/2020).

Aziz admitted that Habib Rizieq and FPI rejected the Tanah Abang Police Chief’s request for a swab test. According to Aziz, the swab test is a private matter for FPI leaders.

Also, Aziz said, FPI has its own health team to do this, namely from Mer-C and Hilal Merah Indonesia (Hilmi).

“So the government doesn’t need to worry about FPI and HRS,” Aziz said.
