LONDON – Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola regretted the negative results his team achieved when he visited Tottenham Hotspur headquarters this morning. In that match, Man City was forced to surrender with a final score of 0-2.
Although disappointed with the final result, Guardiola felt that his players had performed optimally. It’s just that the gameplay shown isn’t enough to slow down the strength of Son Heung-min and his colleagues.
The Citiziens -the nickname of Man City- actually controlled the game quite well. However, Tottenham played more effectively and were very good at taking advantage of the opportunities that existed.
“I thought we played well, but we didn’t (we beat Tottenham Hotspur),” Guardiola was quoted as saying on the Goal International website on Sunday (11/22/2020).

“Keeping Tottenham about three or four chances, that’s pretty good. But if you’re not ready enough in front of goal, what happened recently, it’s not enough,” he continued.
“We had enough chances but we couldn’t score a goal. They made 2-3 chances on the fast break and we lost,” he explained.
