KOMPAS.com – The accident between Daihatsu Ayla’s car and a large cc motorcycle, CBR1000RR SP, in Purwokerto, Central Java, went viral on social media.
A Honda CBR1000RR SP motorcyclist named Dimas Prasetyahani (25) decided to make amends and declined the offer of compensation for a house and car from the contractor’s family, A (30).
For journalists, Dimas also revealed a valuable lesson for himself in the accident.
“Hopefully this is a lesson because on the road we don’t know who we will meet, we have to be careful. This is also a lesson for me who drive a motorcycle to be careful, because the voice is fast,” said Dimas.

Do not close your eyes
Meanwhile, Dimas admitted that he had been received by the A. Ibu Dari family, also saying that he was ready to be responsible and that he would hand over his car and house as compensation.
However, A’s biological mother asked her son not to be convicted. This was done because the price of Dimas’s bike was much more expensive than the car driven by A.
Hearing the offer, Dimas refused. The reason is that Dimas knows that A is the backbone of the family.
So wife A is also 6 months pregnant.
“I’m sorry, that’s the only house, much less the one that crashed the child, (but) the mother had to be beaten, the wife was beaten, there is no place to live, I thought up to there,” said Dimas.

Damaged motor problem
Dimas also believes that damage to his motorcycle can be repaired. Dimas also admitted that he was sincere about not getting a penny.
“When it comes to material, motorcycles can be repaired, but if you have to annoy or torment other families, I’m sorry. Also, I just broke a bone, but Allah has given me salvation,” said Dimas.
As previously reported, Banyumas Traffic Police Chief AKP Ryke Rhimadila explained that the accident occurred in Jalan HR Bunyamin, Purwokerto.

“At the time of the incident, the CBR driver was a bit in the middle. Ayla’s driver when she was about to pass could not control the vehicle and an accident happened at the end,” Ryke said in the Office of Traffic Police of Banyumas Police, on Friday (11/20/2020).
He also confirmed that there had previously been a dispute between the CBR drivers and Ayla’s cars.
“That’s right (I had an argument), due to a misunderstanding. If we ride a motorcycle to balance it, it’s a bit worn,” Ryke explained.
As a result of the accident, Dimas suffered a fracture to his left arm and abrasions to various parts of his body.
