JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) does not care whether or not your organization is registered with the Ministry of the Interior. Because submitting a registered certificate (SKT) is only voluntary.

According to FPI’s legal advisor, Aziz Yanuar, FPI has already processed the SKT but it has been complicated.

“We have fulfilled all the requirements, but they have not broadcast them, they are even disputed,” Aziz said in his visual statement to Kompas TV journalist Rahmat Ibrahim, on Saturday (11/21/2020).

Therefore, FPI does not care and does not question whether the SKT will be issued or not.

“Because the SKT is only to facilitate obtaining financial assistance from the government. And the FPI has never received or requested assistance from the government,” Aziz said.

In addition, in the ruling of the Constitutional Court No. 82 of 2013 on Law No. 17 of 2013 on Ormas, it is explained that the SKT is voluntary or not mandatory.
