Paris Saint-Germain achieved poor results in Week 11 of the French League against AS Monaco. After winning 2-0, Les Parisiens ended up falling 2-3.

At Stade Louis II, Monaco, on Saturday (11/21/2020) at the morning WIB, the host pressed first. Sofiane Diop fired a long-range shot in the 8th minute, but it went wide. Two minutes later, PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas cleared a Kevin Volland free kick.

PSG responded in the 12th minute. Danilo Pereira’s shot from outside the area still bounced over the net, and six minutes later, Ángel Di María’s long shot also missed the mark.

PSG finally took the lead in the 25th minute. On the counterattack, Di María sent a long pass to Kylian Mbappé, who ran fast to get the ball into the penalty area and shot with precision that passed Monaco goalkeeper Vito Mannone.

Behind a goal, Monaco tried to respond. But Gelson Martins ‘shot in the 29th minute went wide, while Willem Geubbels’ header in the 32nd minute also went wide.

Instead of drawing, Monaco conceded again in the 37th minute. Youssouf Fofana violated Rafinha in the penalty area and the referee signaled the point. Mbappé stepped forward as a kicker and successfully fulfilled his duties. The 2-0 lead for PSG lasted until the break.

In the second half, Monaco tried to get up. In the 52nd minute, Volland managed to close the gap. Fofana’s pass was greeted by Gelson, who headed straight for Volland. Free without being guarded, the German attacker finished off with a shot from close range that Navas could not stop.

PSG is trying to escape the pressure. Neymar, who had just entered in the 60th minute, nearly scored with a free kick in the 68th, but Mannone managed to keep the shot.

Disaster for PSG came in the 83rd minute. Abdou Diallo should be rewarded with a red card after violating Volland in the penalty area. This time it was Monaco who won the forehand shot. Fabregas advanced as an executor and sent the ball to the upper left corner without Navas clearing it.

The situation changed, Monaco won 3-2. Until the game ended, the score did not change.

These results do not change PSG’s position at the top of the standings. Thomas Tuchel’s squad still leads with 24 points. But Monaco is now in second place. Niko Kovac’s army has 20 points.
