Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – News about TNI’s visit to FPI headquarters became one of the topics on Twitter’s social media.

In this regard, Habib Rizieq Shihab’s legal advisor, Aziz Yanuar, confirmed the news of the TNI presence in Petamburan. Aziz mentioned the presence of Koopsus.

As is well known, Petamburan is known as the location of the Islamic Defenders Front Headquarters.

Meanwhile, FPI’s headquarters are located in Jalan Petamburan III, Central Jakarta.

“It is true, there is a TNI command under the command of the president for Petamburan,” Aziz said when confirmed by Bisnis, on Thursday night (11/19).

Aziz did not elaborate on how many Koopsus were currently besieging FPI Headquarters and their goal was to reach Jalan Petamburan.

The news about the arrival of TNI at the FPI Headquarters went viral on social networks since Thursday afternoon.

Several comments appeared on Twitter, including from the account @ariefnoviandi_

“Are there still those who dare to say that the TNI commander is only brave enough to speak up? Perhaps they want their home to be visited by TNI troops like Petamburan this afternoon,” the account tweeted.

This account also mentions the presence of Koopsus.

“WUIDIH …! Apparently TNI Koopsus troops intervened directly,” he wrote this account, accompanied by a photo of a four-wheeler with the text Koopsus.

Is it true that the government brought Koopsus down to Petamburan? The head of Puspen TNI, Colonel Aidil de Puspen, gave an explanation.

TO Deal, Aidil said the incident was not something extraordinary.

“The existence of a number of TNI cars in Pertamburan is something as common as any other vehicle,” said Aidil, on Thursday night (11/19/2020).

Aidil added that there were no troops or personnel in the vehicle except the driver.

“The series of cars just passed like other roads. Nothing extraordinary. The freeway is a public road that anyone can go through, including TNI vehicles,” he said.
