DEPOK, KOMPAS.com – Police arrested J, the suspect in a planned murder against his own brother, D, in a rented house on Cape Daman Alley, Jalan Raya Muchtar, Sawangan Baru, Depok, West Java. J buried his brother’s body under the floor of the rented house.
Kapolres Metro Depok, Kombes Azis Andriansyah said the suspect killed his brother because he was driven by resentment.
“The story is that this suspect already has a girlfriend, his brother has no candidate. His younger brother wants to get married soon but he can’t get married before his brother gets married,” Azis told reporters on Thursday (11/19/2020) .
The suspect repeatedly urged his brother to marry. However, those who were called on were genuinely offended and often angered during the two months before the murder occurred.

Chronology of the discovery of the remains
Sukiswo (60), owner of the rented house, was the first to find the body of the victim.
Sukiswo said his wife initially asked him to fix the bathroom in the rented house because it was clogged.
“However, after I saw it, there were tiles of different colors. So I was suspicious of the floor,” Sukiswo told reporters Wednesday night.

“I went through it, I hit it, it was empty, so I decided to dismantle it,” he continued.
“After all this time, nothing was found, but after we saw that there was cement and cement waste that was not sticky to the ground, this was suspicious to me. Finally I kept digging again, ”Sukiswo said.
Then he attached a lever and pulled it so the structure under the floor could unravel more quickly.
“As soon as I shook the lever, there was an odor. After that, I reported it to Pak RT and RW,” Sukiswo said.
“Just after digging a bit more, it looks like a knee, but I’m not sure, but it looks like this (knee),” he added.
The police who received the report arrived at the scene. The excavation was then carried out in conjunction with identification equipment, until the bone was found to be confirmed as part of a corpse that was buried in a curled up sitting position.
