DEPOK, KOMPAS.com – The house for rent in Cape Daman Alley, Jalan Raya Muchtar, Sawangan Baru, Depok, West Java, where the body was found buried under the floor on Wednesday (11/18/2020), is now uninhabited.
However, previously, the rented house was said to have been rented by a meatball wagon seller.
“He previously contracted with a Bogor meatball merchant. I forgot my name, there were two poor meatball merchants who had contracts here,” Sukiswo (60), the owner of the rented house, said Wednesday night.
“He started the contract from July 17 until last Sunday (left), then he left the keys with the neighbors,” he said.

Kapolres Metro Depok Kombes Azis Andriansyah admitted that he could not confirm the connection between the findings of the buried corpse and the meatball merchant who had rented a rented house.
“We have searched there, but the form is not an official examination, because the form is still an investigation. That is why I still cannot open it to the media,” Azis said on Thursday (11/19/2020).
He said that currently the body, identified as a man in his 30s, is undergoing an autopsy, including to find out the estimated date of death.
However, the tentative assumption is that the victim may not have been murdered for a long time and the possibility of dying is unnatural.
“We think we can track this with a focus on the perpetrators,” Azis said.
Chronology of the discovery of the remains
Sukiswo, as the owner, was the first to discover what was originally thought to be a bone.
Initially, he said, his wife asked him to fix the bathroom in the rented house because it was clogged.
“However, after I saw it, there were tiles of different colors. So I was suspicious of the floor,” Sukiswo told reporters Wednesday night.
“I went through it, I hit it, it was empty, so I decided to dismantle it,” he continued.
The demolition begins around 2:30 p.m. WIB until 4:00 p.m. WIB.

Then Sukiswo stopped for a moment to perform Asr prayers and perform other activities.
Then the demolition continued after the evening prayers.
“After all this time, nothing was found, but after we saw that there was cement and cement waste that was not sticky to the ground, this was suspicious to me. Finally I kept digging again, ”Sukiswo said.
Then he attached a lever and pulled it so the structure under the floor could unravel more quickly.
“As soon as I shook the lever, there was an odor. After that, I reported it to Pak RT and RW,” Sukiswo said.

“Just after digging a bit more, it looks like a knee, but I’m not sure, but it looks like this (knee),” he added.
The police who received the report arrived at the scene.
The excavation was then carried out in conjunction with identification equipment, until it was found that the bones were actually part of a corpse that was buried in a hunched-over sitting position.
There was still part of the victim’s clothing even though the body was already trapped on the ground.
