10-day hunt for Tinombala task force kills 2 of Ali Kalora’s men

The Tinombala task force hunted 13 members of the East Indonesian Mujahideen Group (MIT) for approximately 10 days. The result was that the Tinombala task force shot dead two members of the group who were on the wanted list (DPO) in Parigi Moutong Regency (Parimo), Central Sulawesi.

According to the Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police, Kombes Didik Supranoto, the attempted shooting death was carried out when a team from the Tinombala Task Force carried out raids in the Bolano district area, Regency from Parimo, on Tuesday (11/17/2020) in the morning.

“The incident occurred this morning in the Parimo area. During the raid, the authorities killed two people who were included in the DPO. Those affected were Wahid alias Aan alias Bojes and Aziz Arifin alias Aziz”, said Kombes Didik in his statement to the press.

Kombes Didik also revealed that Wahid alias Aan alias Bojes was previously reported by residents in the Mamboro Village, Palu City area. So last week the Tinombala Task Force was registered in the Mamboro area.

“One of the two DPOs who were previously shot was wandering around the Palu city area, especially in Mamboro. Now the body will be evacuated to Bhayangkara Hospital, Palu,” Didik said.
