FPI Rizieq Shihab call to continue with Da’wah Safari

Deputy Secretary General of the Islamic Defenders Front (REIT) Aziz Yanuar stated that the High Priest of the FPI Rizieq Shihab I still have plans to continue preaching in the regions even though they are still in the midst of the corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic.

He said he was responding to the replacement of two high-ranking Polri leaders, namely Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief and West Java Regional Police after being tried for failing to enforce health protocol rules in between. of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Aziz emphasized that Rizieq’s preaching safari will be conducted taking into account the situation and conditions in his destination area. Not only that, he said that the FPI would further strengthen the health protocol according to the direction of the Covid-19 Task Force when the preaching safari took place.

“So, pay attention to whether it is possible or not. What is the health protocol. What are the provisions of the regulations in the area. How is the place. Please keep paying attention to the situation and general conditions, ”said Aziz.

Aziz also promised that his party would mitigate the number of people who would be present in an area if the safari took place. He said he had prepared various strategies to take steps so that the masses who attended could still comply with health protocols.

“So a precautionary step: As the location is expanded, the location should be in a public place to make it easier to maintain distance,” Aziz said.

However, Aziz was reluctant to specify when Rizieq’s preaching safari would begin. He also did not explain which area Rizieq would go to in the near future.

For information, Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Nana Sujana, and West Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi were removed from their posts. It is known that after arriving in Indonesia on November 10, Rizieq’s activities invited a crowd of supporters in both Jakarta and Bogor, West Java.

The post of Kapolda Metro Jaya was replaced by Inspector General Pol Mohammad Fadil Imran. Meanwhile, the post of West Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol Ahmad Dofiri was replaced.

Following the change, many parties also urged the security apparatus to toughen up and take strong action against health protocol violations to prevent coronavirus indiscriminately.
