KOMPAS.com – The veteran Italian rider, Valentino Rossi, praised the achievement of Joan Mir, who was able to win MotoGP when he had just entered his second season in the premier class.
Joan Mir appeared for the first time in the MotoGP category in the 2019 season, with the Suzuki Ecstar team.
He finished his first season finishing 12th in the MotoGP classification.
At that time, Joan Mir accumulated 92 points without reaching the podium.

Rossi is now 15th in the MotoGP standings with 62 points.
