JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The politician of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Abdul Kadir Karding, highlighted the attitude of the former TNI commander, General (retired) Gatot Nurmantyo, who did not attend the Presidential Palace to receive the Mahaputera Star award.
According to Karding, Gatot’s absence could generate diverse public perceptions. In fact, Gatot could be seen as neglecting state subsidies.
Other than that, he also suspected that Gatot thought the state gift was a fake.

“This is a gift from the state. In fact, it means that this country is false, this is a gift from this state. Not right. That is my point of view,” Karding said in a virtual discussion titled “Guest by the Palace Where did the former commander go? ” Sunday (11/15/2020), quoted in Kompas.com.
