Ustaz Maaher assessed that Nikita Mirzani had insulted Habib Rizieq Shihab as a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad.

Through his Instagram account, Gus Miftah made a three-minute video criticizing what Maaher did.

According to Gus Miftah, Maaher’s invitation was a good one even though it was conveyed in very unethical and immoral language.

Armed with the contradiction of Maaher’s attitude, Gus Miftah added, every Muslim must respect the dzuriyah of Prophet Muhammad saw because that is the characteristic of people who believe and are pious.
Regardless of differences of opinion and views, it is not a problem. But certainly, according to Gus Miftah, a Muslim should respect the descendants of the Prophet without being selective.

From this incident, Gus Miftah reminded all parties, especially Maaher, to always be careful with your words and deeds.
